Phever Show : The Gay Burn Show//
Paddy got into DJing aged 16, practising on a mate’s decks and then playing at local house parties once he got the hang of it. He eventually got some gigs on a long gone Dublin radio station. Fast forward to Paddy’s debut on Dublin’s gay scene, playing at the dragged-up lovechild of Dublin legends Panti & Veda, CandiPanti at Wax. A residency at Hilton Edwards on bank holiday weekends followed soon. From there, he graduated to deck duty at legendary Friday night club H.A.M. at he Pod. When H.A.M. finally wound up in 2005, Paddy secured a weekly spot at The Dragon (Dublin’s biggest gay bar/club at the time) where he remained for nine years until its closure in 2014. Over the last fifteen years or so, Paddy’s played most of Dublin’s hotspots: Switch, Spirit, Pantibar, Sauce @ The Kitchen, DTM, Bonanza, Alegria, Ginger, Queen, Profile, Euphoria, Rollover Disco, numerous after-parties and more. Paddy’s been resident at Bukkake in Opium (formerly Cafe en Seine, Soder & Ko, 4 Dame Lane – and originally at The Purty Kitchen) on bank holiday Sundays for eleven years now. He’s also resident on rotation at underground, unashamedly queer Friday night club Sweatbox and guests at DADDi and Bananas from time to time. Festival-wise, Paddy played at thisispopbaby’s infamous arena of homocentricity at Electric Picnic three years in a row.
